Acoustic insulation involves the application of a specific insulation material to act as a barrier and/or absorber to prevent the brake out or reduce the carrying of sound waves which are undesired. Applications include boat engine rooms, compressor rooms, motors, fans, service pipes and acoustic dividing walls.
